Two men drowned on the St. Croix River Tuesday, October 3, and their bodies were pulled from the water by a dive team.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said an empty fishing boat, driving in circles, was found off shore, two miles south of Hudson, and a witness reported seeing a body in the water. The Washington County, Minnesota, dive team located one body just after noon Tuesday, and the second body was found just before 6 p.m.
Names have not been released, pending the men’s identification and family notification.
