WEBSTER, Wis. — (WJMC) — A pedestrian is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 35 at the intersection of County Road FF, in Webster.
Burnett County Sheriff Tracy Finch said the collision happened just after 12 a.m. on Friday. The male pedestrian was transported by ambulance and later airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities. His name has not been released.
The driver, 53-year-old Timothy White, of Webster, was arrested at the scene for first OWI, causing injury. He was booked in the Burnett County Jail.
The incident was under investigation.
